With the onset of Covid-19 he moved back to the laboratory sector where he managed a team at a molecular laboratory. He worked to validate and test Covid-19 assays and it's variants, establishing over nine LDT's. Through multiple CAP and CLIA inspections, his love for GLP was rekindled. Working with Chris Bigley and Bill Rader, they formed the Laboratory Development Team, LLC to bring their knowledge to market and help others grow.

Mr. Bigley is an accomplished biologist who has headed Quality Assurance in multiple laboratories. He has overseen CAP/CLIA compliance, OSHA compliance, and assurance of compliance in laboratory developed tests, with an emphasis on state and federal regulation. He has over 10 years of clinical laboratory experience in compliance and laboratory management working at The Ohio State University Medical Center's Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University at Buffalo. In 2020 at the start of the COVID pandemic Chris worked with Kaleida Health (Buffalo NY) to structure and validate a semi-automated SARS-CoV-2 testing system. Chris has since worked in the private sector supporting clinical laboratory efforts to undertake and maintain federal and state licensure.
